Terms and Conditions – Home Mates Cleaning Services
Welcome to Home Mates Cleaning Services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, please contact us via email or phone.
- Booking and Access
- Your presence at the property during cleaning is not required. Keys can be left for access.
- The person responsible for booking must be contactable by phone on the day of service.
- We reserve the right to not carry out the service if we cannot contact anyone before commencing.
- Service Requirements
- Clients must provide access to water and electricity. Our guarantee may not apply if these utilities are unavailable.
- The property should be empty and ready for cleaning as per our requirements.
- Clients are responsible for moving heavy items (over 5 kg) if cleaning is required underneath or behind them.
- Parking expenses, if applicable, are the client’s responsibility.
- Payment
- Payment is required before service commencement.
- We accept cash and bank transfers.
- A tax invoice will be provided upon payment.
- Quotations
- Quotes provided without inspection are estimates and may change based on property size, condition, or additional services required.
- Clients will be notified of any quote variations before work begins.
- If a quote variation is not agreed upon, some or all items of the service warranty may be voided.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
- A $100 fee applies for cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if the property is deemed unsafe or inaccessible.
- If the property is not ready at the agreed time, a $40 per hour per staff member fee may apply.
- Service Guarantee
- We strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
- If an agent is not satisfied with our cleaning of checklist areas, we will rectify issues free of charge within five days of receiving the exit report.
- Limitations of Guarantee
Our guarantee does not cover:
- Hard water stains on shower glass and taps
- Calcium buildup and mold inside sealed areas
- Permanent marks
- Mold and grout issues
- Tile and natural stone stains
- Discoloration of grout, toilets, plastics, taps, glass doors, or windows
- Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Extensive wall cleaning beyond spot cleaning
- Thorough blind cleaning
- External windows, glass, and outside areas (not covered by our warranty due to weather circumstances)
- Liability
- We take responsibility for damages caused by our cleaners during service.
- We are not responsible for discoloration to ceilings or walls after cleaning.
- Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
- We are not liable for personal items left behind and disposed of with waste.
By using Home Mates Cleaning Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
